In a mysterious and surreal interstellar zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly disoriented group of tourists through Winnipeg’s landmarks and historical sites. Matthew leaves his menial job at a Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identities merge, intertwine, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
