Original stories set in the world of iconic video games are featured in this animated anthology series. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in films and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice as Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. Featured in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Sequel (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When I watch trailers for movies or video game footage, I often think that some of them will make it to next-gen television. I knew the creators of Love Death and Robots would create another animated anthology series and I’m glad I was proven right. The Warhammer episode was definitely the highlight for me so far, I really hope to see more in the future. My only complaint would be to give more time to certain episodes. There are so many solid video game stories that this show could delve into and adapt into specific episodes, the possibilities are very exciting and I’m glad that I’ve gone for a more gritty and adult tone. I’m very pleased with what’s been shown so far and looking forward to what’s to come. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
