Story

Spanning four tumultuous decades during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The real Dollars Price was married to Irish actor Stephen Rea for two decades (1983-2003). During this time, Rhea appeared in the most famous film in the United States: the 1992 romantic thriller The Crying Game. In this film, Rhea plays Fergus, an extremely reluctant and ambivalent member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) – the same organization Price was involved with for many years. It’s not often that I write a review. This series is very well done and moving. It chronicles real events from 1971 to recent years in London, including the Old Bailey bombing in Northern Ireland. It’s not fiction, which makes it more interesting to watch. It’s very raw and at times very painful to watch. Rightly or wrongly, I found it incredible to see some of the IRA members, especially the two sisters, and what they were prepared to do for a united Ireland. Don’t forget this tragic contemporary story.
