Fortunately, "Dexter" definitely delivers

I read Lindsay’s excellent books – Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter – a while ago, and when I heard that the books were being made into a series, I was very excited. So much so, in fact, that I was afraid of being disappointed simply because my standards were so high. The show maintains the novels’ unsettling atmosphere better than I could have ever expected, and Dexter (played by Hall) is in on it.
Disturbing, to be sure, but more so – captivating
The visuals of the show are stunning to say the least. It’s impossible to avoid finding a certain sympathy for Dexter while watching the show. He’s a monster, and yet it’s entirely possible to relate to him. 10/10.
