Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Hugh Jackman has revealed that he really didn’t play the role of Wolverine after Logan (2017). He then said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool film, and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he decided to return for this film, he simply said, «I just wanted to do it, and I had a gut feeling about it,» adding that he wanted to have the best time possible ever on a movie set alongside Ryan Reynolds. The inevitable bromance is revealed before our eyes

It goes beyond the MCU timeline, it even goes beyond FOX’s X-Men movies. It’s about all the kids who grew up with these movies and these characters. The kids who are now adults but still love every second of it. You know it’s going to be funny with these two, but man… I laughed so hard, even my stomach felt it. And the jokes… you can be sure that this isn’t a watered down Deadpool in the MCU, this is Deadpool at his finest.

What more could you ask for?

The story is good, nothing special, but you feel it, and knowing the knowledge of the characters and their respective universes, you get emotional.What about the cameos, you might ask? Well, we already know a lot of them, but rest assured, there are a lot more, and even the ones we already knew are more than what meets the eye.Emma Corrin as the villain Cassandra Nova is such a good addition to the film and the MCU as a whole. She is smart, strong, cold-blooded, and also makes fun of our two main leads.The action and visual effects are beyond amazing. There are some really, really creative scenes where adamantium swords and claws wreak such havoc that everything gets so bloody!The music selection is great and entertaining, could make you laugh so hard sometimes. The opening scene is pure gold!I can’t praise the film enough, but Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely in my top 5 cinematic experiences, and you can easily make up the others. The whole cinema was laughing, cheering, and sobbing like one person.

And what about the end credits scene, you might ask?

Plus, the movie is so rewatchable, the length is perfect, and you can be sure it will make tons of money! You can’t possibly catch all the details on your first viewing, but you’ll want to, so you’ll keep going back… and again. I don’t really want to say anything about it because I don’t even want to give away the possible direction of your thoughts. Just stick around, there’s something really beautiful during the credits too. It’s not «fun filler» by any stretch, it’s not «Infinity War» level, but it’s a great movie and one of the best in the MCU!
