The volume of the story seems to be just enough to support conversations in which people have the opportunity to be unusually honest and carefree with each other, even if they are lying or posing. The acting of the actors is consistently excellent and corresponds to the level of the script – there is not a single false note, although there are some painful, unclear moments. Both shooting and editing perfectly convey the atmosphere of reflection and light detachment, complementing the calm intensity of the characters’ characters. interactions. The detachment is enhanced in several moments where the film clearly contains elements of a documentary, or at least gives the impression of it. I wasn’t always thrilled with the music and how it was made, but that’s a little trick I don’t share with many. I dispute the second reviewer’s claim that this film was intended as «awards bait». In my opinion, this film has too much heart and honesty to be classified as cynical or manipulative – and certainly not as good as any other film that strives to tell an important story in a convincing and beautiful way. And this film is taking a big risk, which I think will hardly be accepted in India, which is becoming more and more sectarian and puritanical.
