(March 22, 1935 – March 19, 2024). Shortly after running away from the animal, Moke sniffs his left hand in disgust. With a fairly star-studded cast, people would have expected much more from this film.
Parts were cheesy and crude, but almost in the style of the early 2000s
I don’t think they thought they had created a masterpiece, more of an entertaining action comedy. Judging it not as a critic but just as a general viewing experience, I think it was definitely above average these days. I found the film easy to watch and enjoyed the performances from the actors involved.
Some parts are a bit formulaic
I can understand that some people might be disappointed with this film. I definitely think it’s not meant to be an art(film), it’s just a film(entertainment). Which is totally fine, because as much as people want great films, there are a lot of people who just want to sit down and watch an entertaining film.
